- Walk full length, listen for bearing noise and belt slap.
- Check belt tracking at head and tail.
- Look for frayed edges, splice damage, material buildup on pulleys.
- Confirm E-stops and pull cords reset correctly.
- Check guards in place.
- Log findings.
Parts: Rags, degreaser. Safety: Do not touch moving belt; guards stay on for running inspection.
